Good morning, Dr. Serrano, could you tell us a few words about yourself?
I was born in Nairobi. I graduated from the National University of Mombasa in 1990 and met my future wife Julia there. I worked as an orthopedic surgeon until 2009.
What happened in 2009 and why did you leave your job?
In 2007, Yulia was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the knee joint. It was a turning point in our lives, and at the time it seemed like a terrible ordeal.
